Hello, my name is Mike Chatman. I am a Figurative Colorist artist residing in Central Florida, Orlando. My art portrays beautiful scenes and imagery that touch the senses. Many of my artworks have been drawn from compositions I've observed from reading and browsing magazines and other literature. I hope that my depictions will offer the viewer entertaining and insightful glimpses of my observations.

I have exhibited in various venues around Orlando such as the National Arts Program's Art competition for Orange County Employees & Family. I also exhibited at the Orlando Public Library on three occasions, as well as in a juried competition last summer at the Maitland Art Center where I won honorable mention for a painting entitled "The Sax Man." I also serve on the Associate Board of the Maitland Art Center. I plan to exhibit in more areas including possibly the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival.
